[Hotfix] v0.2 - Prototype Build


Heya, just dropping in after some people playtested v0.2 and shared some feedback. I've done some small changes to the map, some hotfixes and some new little features:


Changes


v0.1.5 - Hotfixes
  • Added a timer system for speedrunners (final time is displayed in the credits)
  • Added some new screens showcasing the rest mechanic when the player is assumed to be softlocked
  • Added cables connecting screens to guide the players towards the associated hint signs
  • Added a fullscreen toggle [F11]
  • [P] Now resets everything instead of just reloading the previous save (useful for speedrunners)
  • Some small map changes
  • Properly connected "Save and Quit" button to redirect to the title screen instead of closing the game
  • The player is now automatically redirected to the title screen when credits end
  • Changed some things on the Iron City level


Fixes


v0.1.5 - Hotfixes
  • Fixed a bug where the map's state wouldn't be saved properly after resetting on the first level
  • Fixed a bug where tiles that got turned into copper wouldn't get infected by surrounding grass tiles
  • Fixed a display bug where there would seem to be a thin white border around the game screen when on fullscreen
  • Reloading the level no longer causes a lag spike
  • Fixed a bug where the cursor would get teleported to the top-left corner of the screen when loading a level
  • Fixed a bug that made the screen flicker if cheats were disabled while in the ending credits
  • Made the volume slider "logarithmic"
  • Player can no longer respawn while in the end credits
  • Fixed a major bug that caused a 10s lag spike when loading a level after beating the game due to physics calculations
  • Some other technical stuff
